All they got to do is win their last 2 games.. they a wildcard that nobody wants to face.. truth be told.. chiefs, bills, and dolphins all have iffy defense that on the right day can lose.. those guys gonna be shaky if you can contain their offense in the playoffs
I don't give a fuck who represents the NFC in the Superbowl long as its not the fuckin Eagles. It can be the Wildcats coached by Goldie Hawn long as it ain't them muthafuckas!!!! Fans talk waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyy too much shit. 
Packers still suck in my opinion. At least from what I'm used to in previous years. If they sneak in, it'll be a miracle and Ill enjoy it. But I do not have high hopes.
@CurtDawg - was Purdy balling like this in training camp? I keep up with college football, but I don't remember this nigga....

Look at all the teams in the playoffs right now.. outside the 49ers and eagles with jalen hurts all these squads are shaky.. especially on defense.. some of them have qbs that can easily have bad games or make stupid costly throws.. it’s really and up for grabs superbowl this yr.. there’s 4 teams that have the highest possibility of winning it ..eagles, 49ers, chiefs, bills( they qb can be shaky as well as their defense).. this the yr you want to enter the playoffs cause it will be a any given Sunday season

Last weekend, I had to go back & watch the 49ers preseason
And yeah, he actually looked "solid" in those preseason games
Not great, not bad, but pretty solid
Originally the plan was for Trey Lance to be the starter, of course
Then Garoppolo backing him up
Then Nate Sudfeld (that bum QB from the Eagles) as the #3 QB
The 49ers paid Sudfeld something like $3 million guaranteed
But Purdy ended up beating him out for the #3 spot
We cut Sudfeld & the Lions picked him up as their backup
During the season 49ers fans forgot all about Purdy
Because the focus was always on Lance & Garoppolo
But Purdy was improving during the season
Running the scout practice team, & playing against the 9ers defense every week
Fam, hes surprised me at how he plays, every week so far
Little stuff like situational awareness, game management type stuff that rookie QB's forget about
Dude does not play like a rookie at all
He doesn't have elite arm strength, but he doesn't really need it, in our offense
And the crazy thing is
Last week he got injured & was playing with cracked ribs, & a partially torn oblique
And he still played decent against the Seahawks

It almost reminds me of when Russ was drafted by Seattle and they paid GB's backup all the money and he beat him out to win the QB job...

Do you think Lance will get his job back next year? I am almost tempted to go look at his college tape to see if he was this good in college...
I think dude made the wrong move pushing (if the rumors were true) trying to get out of Seattle.
I hope he recovers and does better next season.
I felt like we had to win this game to make the playoffs because I feel like we will split these last 2. Really gut check time now

Going forward, its going to be just Trey Lance & Brock Purdy
Garoppolo will finally be gone, since he is a free agent & we're not paying him again
We will keep both Lance & Purdy, for the next 3 years
As insurance, just in case one of them gets injured
Having a cheap QB room will allow the 49ers to re-sign Bosa & a couple other guys
The team should be stacked for a few more years to come
It all depends on how far Purdy takes us in the playoffs
If he takes us to the NFC Championship or even the Superbowl
Then I don't see how the coaches could just hand Lance the starting job back
