YouTube has emerged as the frontrunner for NFL Sunday Ticket for bay 2.5 billy a year

Youtube TV is a great service. Only drawback is that they dropped all the regional sports networks so you miss out on local NBA/MLB/NHL games.

i really do not want to have to sign up for a service to get sunday ticket.

that was one of the main issues with sunday ticket being on directv. a subscription to the main service was required.

that is why it would be awesome if amazon gets it. you would likely just have to have prime and then pay for the sunday ticket subscription.

it is likely that youtube tv will pull some bull and make you sign up for their main service as well. no bueno....

We can all agree on that madden monopoly fuckibg up the game experience
Yup. :smh:

No they won't, they added a new page last month into YouTube called Primetime Channels.

It lets you buy standalone services (Paramount+, STARZ and soon Sunday Ticket, NBA, etc) and basically show it as a one of your subscribed channels on YouTube

Im low key glad Apple didnt get it because you know they always behind in tech but fan boys think they just reinvented the wheel

Apple: "Now stream all your primetime NFL games on our stunning 720P resolution and groundbreaking 5.2 surround sound! Whats 5.2? We here at Apple have discovered an added way to include the sounds of the birds and/or planes that fly over they field!"

Fanboy: 720P!??! 5.2!?!? Birds!?!?!?! Sign me the fuck up!!!

I could care less. I won't pay for this watered-down bullshit they call football.

The greedy owners turned this shit into ballet and they keep their foot on the players' necks. I understand business but it's not good business to wear out your assets. 18 games and extra playoffs? Madness.

Yep.

Not to mention they encrypt everything that goes through their OS.

Here’s a list of 4k, Dolby Vision/HDR, and Dolby Atmos movies available on Apple TV 4k. By default, this list is sorted by Apple TV+ original films and series (a subscription required), but you can click on the tab to view additional titles by alphabetical order, format, or genre type. Apple TV 4k supports HDR (HDR10 and Dolby Vision) and Dolby Atmos and Dolby 5.1 audio formats

It's hard to get better than 4k HDR - DolbyVision and HDR 10+ - with full support for Dolby Atmos.

What formats are you streaming in?

For us with IPTV this is the greatest news ever. Because now the delays will be less than 10 seconds. I hated when some play happens and somebody would text me and the shit didn't happen yet on my TV. Because that satellite delay and then it being transferred to IPTV gave us 30 second delays or longer. Hackers have YouTube figured out easy. I love it. Great job Google.

And how do networks make money? Selling ad spots

If I could get Sunday Ticket for just $6, I'd watch that over local TV.
The local affiliates then wouldn't be able to sell Sunday afternoon spots at the premium they can now if they can't guarantee as many eyes will be on the local broadcast
What prem?

these are over the air broadcasts

Over the air doesn't matter.. networks charge businesses to use their air time for commercials. If viewers had a choice to watch the Super Bowl on a different platform, do you think NBC, CBS or FOX could charge as much for those 30 sec slots as they do now?
