London slingshot ride fails

Two teenage boys had to be rescued after a Winter Wonderland fairground ride failed.
The elastic and gearbox on one side of the Slingshot failed, with the pod holding the pair slamming into a metal support.

I've rode slingshots all over the country. The biggest one I rode is in Orlando. I ride them...fuck it.

I'm thinking like five minutes.... the chain connection failed.... I heard a diesel motor tensioning it..... just needed to reverse it, like when the ride is over, and they lower them
