I asked all those same questions, the guy was shot in the leg so I don't think he hopped back to the guy he shot and emptied his pockets. On the video you can see him get up after he had been shot and pick up his tablet before limping away so the tablet belonged to him

While what you say is (mostly) true, you're jumping the gun. First, you get charged with something that will keep you either in jail or in the jurisdiction. Then once the smoke clears and evidence and testimony are in you get the full dose.
The way she's in there singing like Sarah Vaughan they're probably counting on her to not only make their case for them but to put herself down for a dime at least. Unless she's white then she'll just cry and get probation, but that's another story.
