Too much for her son's birthday, or showing love?

My opinion...........excessive. He may be a good kid and deserving but he's fucking 16!! He hasn't even worked a fucking job or paid any bills yet! Needs to learn how to work for things. Buy the kid some stock or something.

But that's just my opinion.

i aint mad at it.

Holdup. You gotta explain this. What exactly did the kid do w/ a room?

i don't even fucking know.

i didn't venture too much into it. it was a work convo. and one of my direct reports was telling me about it. i do my best to keep that line drawn between my directs and myself.

it is one of the reason i was confused as fuck.

I see where some see it as too much but shit I like to see our kids celebrated and living good so fuck it to each his owm not my speed but I love the sentiment.

How do you feel about this birthday celebration? Excessive, or an example of a mother loving her child?

No it's not too much. That is the exact same model Infiniti fx35 I have. Judging by the grill that model was made 2009 - 2011. She probably paid $5000 for the car and 10 to 15 thousand for the upgrades. Well within budget for us regular folks.

On a side note. That shits nice. Got me thinking about upgrading mines.

It's not uncommon.

My daughter, in high school went to two graduation sleep overs. The girls all stay in another room from the parents and the girls celebrate doing girlie chit.

Then I remember another story where one of my wife's girlfriends, her daughters friend, the dad flew a bunch of her friends out to stay over the weekend in Vegas for her graduation and got them a suite. The girls ordered room service and just did girlie stuff I guess. My wife's friend, he paid for her room as well. Parents were in other rooms for who wanted to go with their kids, but the kids spent the nite in the suite. No boys.

IF she got the room so she could have a slumber party with some of her friends then that's not bad. A good friend of mine got her daughter a room (they had a connected room next door), her daughter invited a few of her good friends & her parents had food delivered to the room, had a friend come & do their nails/toes and then they girls did girl stuff & watched movies.
