With online shopping and earlier sales, is Black Friday dead?

Black Friday has long been the unofficial kickoff to the holiday shopping season – but with online shopping and earlier sales, does it still hold the same power as in the past? CBS News correspondent Nancy Chen has more.

Mayb not for those door buster deals...which usually is just a few...but i think its done as a whole.. i went to macys 3 weeks ago and the had pre black friday sales 60/70 % off... so its easy to figure they trying to get that money all month not just from this one day..jus my 2 cent

Nigga your fat ass no legs having ass can only shop online! Fuck yo post faggot

Some fools will still go out there like idiots to get old inventory the stores are trying to get rid of passing off as deals. Walmart and Target started early.

They needed some relief. About 10 years ago my aunt almost got caught in one of those 4AM Best Buy stampedes on Long Island, so maybe this helps. Alot of people got fucked up that day. Couple of people got their fucking skulls danced on. Hopefully those that survived weren't now retarded.

Man, between multiple Prime Day sales and Walmart and Target competing with those Prime Day sales, I don't understand why people still would try to risk life and limb over bullshit.

You can get a 65" TV for like $300 on a normal day. FOH waiting in line and fighting a crowd of people for a bullshit waffle maker.

Here's another two cents.... if you were ever able to see how they mark shit up 80-100% when it hits their loading dock..... you'd be shocked.... nukkas be running all up in there to get 60-70% off and still giving them a profit..... with the net..... stores like Macy's are strictly touch n feel.... go there to check something out.... then order it elsewhere on line for cheaper
sidebar: used to work for similar stores in the mall in my younger days
