Here's how the Black community looks in term of gay acceptance:
Gay dudes were/are always accepted by Black women. Always that one zesty dude hanging with them since elementary school. They love that effeminate shit and feed off that chaotic energy.
Gay females/studs were mostly accepted by Black men. They played ball and smoked blunts with dudes and were only annoying when they attempted to show off for another female. That's why you could always see a crew of dudes surrounding the Latifahs and Young M.A.s of the world.
You could tell it was people they really rock with and not just music.
