I think the chick that played that role went by Angela Tracy (either real name or alias) and at some point Angela Devi used that alias too, so since they were both actresses in the LA area around the same time the two were conflated. That happens every so often when you have databases that fans help to update.
Somebody saw the movie and was like, "Who is this phat booty redbone with shorts up her ass playing the stripper?" They saw her name and probably being unfamiliar with Angela Devi otherwise, saw that name was tied to someone who was also a porn star. Well, they used to cast porn stars in roles like that all the time back then.
