Straight up, Hershel must have had an ear piece in or went through some intense training or had a clone because he was not nearly as horrible as I thought he would be. The badge thing was a bad idea. But, other than that, Warnock did not do a good job of putting Hershel away. And he could have done so very easily.

If he goes all in to bash Walker, they absolutely would hit him with the "angry man" theme and ignore that he was making perfect sense.
If he tries to keep it respectful, he comes off as "soft", and Walker gets to score points by merely existing and making the occasional quip.
At the end of the day, most of the people who were watching this debate already know who they're voting for. Nothing that happened was going to change that. Maybe a few moderates might finally make up their minds, but they were never going to be dependable anyway.
Warnock's main message seemed to be to try and encourage people to come out and vote for him, and that was honestly all he could have hoped to do. Walker could have shit his pants on stage, and Republicans would still vote for Walker over "that mean man who made poor Herschel shit his pants."
I'm still impressed that I got past this part and still finished watching most of this mess. How this wasn't the end of things for people, I will never know.Dis he say "unless you have eatin right"?

Waaaay too many people not in Georgia are repeating the lie that he will. Walker is a popular guy here because he used to be an athlete, but that does NOT transfer to votes. People arent going to vote for a buck who has made every white woman(IE Their sisters/daughters/mothers) he has ever been involved with a single mother even if he does beat them the way they wish they could.

Warnock looks bad here. The questions he keeps getting are easily answered, but he's doing talking points instead of giving good answers. He should have taken some improv classes or spent some time in the barbershop to work on his responses. Herschel did better than I expected, but I wasn't expecting much.
Walker doesn't appear to be making any headway with Independent voters, just the die hard MAGAs. Will that be enough in trending purple GA? We'll see. The "undecided", just don't want to admit who their voting for in surveys or on camera.
Didnt see the debate but I know the GOP plan was to lower expectations for Walker and that all Walker had to do was not get completely embarassed and ran out the building...from the sound of yall comments it sounds like Walker did exactly what the GOP wanted him to do
