Everybody tried to compared rob to giardi but rob proved them wrong and proved to be the better manager knowing when to pull pitchers out, knowing which reliever pitcher that can close out the game and last but certainly not least he didn't mind playing young guys. Every coach needs to have balance in his rotations and lineups being creative and using all their resources that would give them the best opportunity to win the game which is what separate good coaches from mediocre ones.Yup. Right, I don't care about home runs that much, I want them them to win the game by any means necessary, whether that's stealing bases, hitting ground balls, double ball when the ball bounce out field. If they hit a home run then it's a bonus. Just do whatever it takes to get the win.
