Adam was arrested and a restraining order was placed on him. Keaira stayed with her family in hiding, not wanting to leave the house. Adam was released from jail on Tuesday October 4th. She was so scared that her husband was going to kill her that she wore a bullet-proof vest all the time. Keaira's mom asked her why she was wearing a vest and she said "because mom he's going to kill me, you don't understand." Yesterday, Oct 5th, on a Wednesday morning, Keaira was on her way to drop her kids off at daycare because she needed to go to court for custody of her kids so they could be protected too. As she turned the corner of the daycare, Adam slammed his car into Keaira's car. He jumped out of his vehicle and shot Keaira multiple times in her head. She did not survive and she never made it to court. Adam went into hiding and people thought he un-alived himself, but he is still alive, breathing, and on the run. I've seen the aftermath of women after they've beaten and seen movies but didn't know it was this bad, dude wasn't just punching her, he was kicking her and then was trying to pull her pants off to rape her. The woman said she managed to get away after this beating, she had the guy arrested and then went into hiding, she said on the day she was supposed to go to court she went to drop her kids off at daycare and that's when the dude rammed her car and shot her 5 times in the head while the kids were still in the backseat

She didn't change the daycare. I am not victim blaming at all, but you've got to change everywhere where the abusive spouse knows you visit.

He went to the daycare where he knew the kids were, or where the kids were going. Super unfortunate for her and the kids who are going to be needing therapy for the rest of their lives

I hate this shit. I hate our system. If a video like this exists of anybody doing shit like this, I say they need to die. Like don't waste time with that judge and jury and jail shit. Shoot that punk on PPV and use the money to help old girl find a new life.

Yeah the story says she went into hiding for a week with family members but was supposed to go to court that morning for protection order so she was taking her kids to daycare and that's when he killed her

Its ridiculous how many women think this means anything, my mother had a work friend who hisband whooped her ass and she was giving an order of protection and a whistle I kid you not a fucking whistle they called it a panic whistle that if hes around she can use it to discourage him from possibly attacking her and a necklace she pushes and the cops will respond to, luckily for her it didnt end this way but she felt protected by that.

This comes off as victim blaming but I understand what youre saying, i had to end a friendship with a chic I grew up with because she kept forgiving her dude everytime he went upside her head, me and the fellas stepped in once and that wouldve been enough we made that bitch nigga move out of state not proud of what was done but at the time we felt it was warranted but she ended up moving with him and she just missed becoming a statistic he beat her ass to the point of near death but fortunately for her he was killed while resisting arrest told cops he wasnt going to jail.

Victim blaming started with women being raped/assaulted and people saying why was she dressed like that etc when how she was dressed didn't give the man any right to violate her, I hate that they attached victim blaming to domestic violence because the woman keeps allowing herself to be a victim of domestic violence, with no matter what you do, you can beat the guy up, call the cops, kidnap the woman to get her away from him but soon as she gets a chance she's going back to him and then cutting off the people that tried to help her out, I've experienced in my family and close friends twice so I know how it is but then when someone says why didn't she leave people and even the woman who was being abused will say you're victim blaming. Even in this story the guy had been beating her for a long time but the story said he told her he was going to change his ways and then asked her to marry him, the family told her not to because of the abuse but she did it anyway. When I saw this on Facebook she made a post about saying the police ain't shit because she's been calling and begging them for help and they are useless so she married a man she knew was abusive but then was blaming the police for not coming fast enough when he started beating her ass again

The bad part is they've been together for awhile but just got married in March, the article said he told her he was going to stop being abusive to her and the kids and then asked her to marry him and she said yes..smh
