This is a very dependent and feminine view. 50 being a millionaire as an adult does not entitle his son to live a lavish lifestyle. Honestly, it would be poison for him. 50 earned his money. He hustled as a child and throughout his adult years. His son likely has never held a job but is on the internet talking about Sketchers as if the idea of a child ever wearing Sketchers is ridiculous. 6K a month is more than enough to put a roof over his head and healthy food. I don't believe that more money would actually benefit the child but would more likely hurt the child. Another thing to think about is if the Mother truly felt her son was missing important income, why didn't she work to make up the difference?
The only part that I semi-agree on is the lack of involvement he had. I used to never feel sorry for Fathers complaining of child support because they could dramatically lower it by just getting 50-50 Custody. That said, as a Father with 50-50 Custody, I've experienced how exhausting the Family Court system is. I could not imagine how the Family Court/Child Custody experience would be for an entertainer with an erratic and demanding schedule at faraway locations would be. I can't think of any entertainers with similar obligations that have alot of Custody. O Custody with Visitation might have been all 50 could have maintained while simultaneously maintaining a career.

This is dumb things black families say. We force our kids out of our homes at 18 to rack up debt while other races help their kids save money, invest and build wealth.
The point of building wealth is to prevent your family from having to slave at a 9-5 or work hard.
