Yeah, the ball is in his court but I would be highly surprised if Punk apologizes to the locker room. It just doesn't seem like his style.

He's the villain that always thinks he is doing what is best for everybody. His ego gets in the way of seeing him scorching the earth.

I need to see this visually in the ring together. Jade has to make the jump to WWE. My dream women's stable Sasha, Bianca, Naomi, Jade, Lash Legend(needs a name change) She should just go by Legend short for Legend in the making. They would feud with Charlotte, Lacey, Mandy,Tiffany Stratus and Carmella
You don't want this match. Trust me.
If WWE ever did that, you already know who's going over and which team is eating a clean pin.

I'm starting to feel about WWE that same way I do with AEW.
Who the hell was that under the ring?
Who punched Austin Theory?
Who helped Roman?
Do I need to live on the dirt sheets in order to follow the storylines?

If these people are from NXT then they should have been called up before NXT got the bright rainbow set. I haven't keep up with NXT since then, and as far as I could tell, that looked like some random fan in the audience that punched Theory. Especially because the punch looked real a.f. and not like a typically WWE sucka punch.

lol you realize black people DONT have to always be in a ALL black stable. MVP just touched on this :smh:

Man you're really out of the loop.

Dexter Lumis (serial killer/stalker gimmick who became a NXT fan favorite)

I didn't watch the KO match but I assume it was Johnny Gargano

Uso's younger brother and Roman's cousin.

Cornette's podcast would be the last podcast I'll be wanting to listen to in regard to this situation. He notoriously hates Omega and the Bucks so of course he's going to say Punk's frustrations are valid. No objectivity whatsoever.
Whether you like the man or not (I do), Cornette has been spot on about all this from the jump.
Him and Brian Last predicted long ago that all this dysfunction would happen because TK has no experience running a wrestling company and hired the wrong people to be in charge of the company.

Surely you don't mean The Elite? The people the company is named after because they helped create the company that is currently paying him and provided him an opportunity to go to a mainstream nationally-televised pro wrestling company and actually wrestle? Because those are the people he is currently fighting.

Yes, you let Punk go. He got the whole locker room on 10 right now.

Punk has maybe a year left in the tank before either his body breaks down or he says fuck it and leaves. The Elite have way more road ahead of them than Punk. CM Punk is not worth potentially losing two heavyweight champions and one of the best tag teams in the world. They already lost Cody and was about to lose MJF all because they both wanted Punk's salary.

Fuck the money. You have to choose loyalty in this situation. Tony is a goddamn billionaire. They should've made that money back by now anyway.

Not to mention how important it is to stick by your day ones, so you don't alienate all your other originals. If TK chooses Punk over the Elite, how's that going to make people like MJF, Wardlow, Darby, Ricky and 'em feel? Soon as Punk has a problem with them, they gotta skip town, too?

Punk knew the MF worked there. He shouldn't have went to AEW if he knew he wasn't ready to peace it up with him. Just because he acts like Colt Cabana never existed, doesn't mean everybody is about to do the same thing.
Correction. TK is not a billionaire. His daddy is. And even billionaires at some point decide a business isn't worth investing in anymore.
All of this is a bad look for AEW, Warner/Discover and the Khan family.
If TK wants to stick with the Elite and the other indy all-stars who haven't drawn a quarter of the business the other guys have, let him have it.
The Bucks have purposely pushed themselves over FTR who are a far better tag team than they are and they know it.
Egos are running rampant in that locker room and it's not just Punk.
At this rate, AEW won't make it to 5 years which is truly a shame.

I'll take Cornette's take over most with regards to how wrestlers deal with backstage issues.

Yes, he notoriously hates The Elite, but as you put it, him and Last predicted the turmoil in AEW a long time ago.

Cornette just wants to see the world burn, Joker style. Lolz

At this point, what do you even do with the AEW Title? It's been passed around so much this last year, it has somewhat lost any importance. I laughed when JR said during the PPV that Moxley and Punk we're fighting for the grandest prize in wrestling.....

If Punk leaves, they probably need to redesign the belt, change the name of it and have a months long tournament to determine the champion.

That belt has kind of lost its shine.

If Punk is fired or walks then you put the belt on MJF and have him run with it for a year then you put it on Danielson. If I'm booking it's...

MJF
Danielson
Miro
Omega (2nd Reign)
Wardlow

MJF should have been champion instead of Hangman. That's the title reign that really diminished its importance.
That would have at least kept MJF happy for a little while.

I agree. MJF should be champion and have a long ass run with it.

How will TK do it though? Don't even want to hear of any more interim champion crap ....

MJF already has a title shot because he won the Casino ladder match so the challenge is finding his opponent. Moxley isn't losing clean in two consecutive championship matches so he's out. Jericho? Been there, done that. Orange Cassidy? Nope! Miro, Wardlow, Danielson have to be protected so it can't be them. Interesting dilemma.

Aww damn, I knew this shit was going to happen!!...To be honest, I'm glad that TK is putting his foot down on that baskstage BS that's going on!!...It's possible that Punk might be fired from AEW that would change things on who gets the AEW Belt now!!...

To me, If Punk is let go, I won't put the belt on no wrestler right now(not even MJF cause he just came back and it won't be good to put the belt on him yet)....This shit is crazy right now!!.. :smh:

What's really fcuked up is that Vince leaves and AEW loses its shyt! Granted that has nothing to do with anything, but the timing is crazy. WWE is MUCH more entertaining now than it has been in years and AEW just seems to be imploding on itself. For a company that was started by friends for a love of wrestling this just seems like one of those sayings that friends shouldn't loan money to each other or buy a boat together.

i think the commentary and creative in large do a good job telling you who ppl are
if you missed the Fury punch commentary mentioned it gave replays, but i can understand not knowing who he is if you arent a boxing fan

personally i am not as big a fan of NXT 2.0 as the black and gold but appreciate the added continunity and not insulting fans who watch NXT and the Main Roster. I like that they reference past relationships and NXT title runs instead acting like the wrestler didnt exist before being called up in

To me, If Punk gets fired, I said not to put the AEW Belt on no wrestler right now not even MJF!!....Just let the wrestlers go out and wrestle..Boost themselves up and get popular with the fans and let the fans decide who's the top wrestler that they like and hype that wrestler up and maybe that wrestler(whomever that's it) go vs MJF(He got the title shot at All Out) and hype them up to get the AEW Championship Belt!!..

all this cause TK runs a messy shop and allows the inmates to run the asylum
even Jericho had to admit that this would never happen under Vince watch

i hope they figure this out since its best for business to have a viable major wrestling alternative to the WWE.

I agree with you on this brother!!..I think AEW is going to be alright and TK will get back control of the backstage BS!!...

Tony Kahn has gone on record and said that AEW is not a business to him, but a personal project. I don't think anyone is going to change his mind on how he sees fit to run it. When AEW ends, it will just end and that will be it. But I don't see that happening until he gets bored with it.

For Punk to stay "His apology better be as loud and as public as the disrespect."

We haven't heard anything negative about the locker room before Punk started his bull shit. You can't keep a toxic employee in your company. Punk is too much of a prick to apologize and the amount of heat he has right now in the company and the fan base ain't worth the trouble.

I can't remember this much negative backstage news since WCW and 90's HBK shenanigans.

I agree. With this Colt Cabana shit, Punk has shown that he can dish it but can't take it.

Punk is the reason people are so in love with these work-shoot promos and airing out grievences on the air. But now that he has something people can shoot on him about and the gun's pointed at him, now it's unprofessional and shouldn't be done. Now Kingston and MJF are pricks because they do the same thing.

Everybody saw that TK took Colt off of TV and was going to fire him just to appease Punk. It wasn't a coincedence he just disappeared after Punk came in. Punk may or may not have asked for it, but he damn sure didn't stop him, the Bucks did. If he was so concerned about how that would make him look, instead of being indifferent about it, he should've told TK not to do it, just keep us seperated.

Because he didn't, now he has ammo against him and it bothers the shit out of him.

Hangman simply alluded to it, I'd say it even went over most people's heads.

In that promo, Hangman said that if he were to cut a pipebomb against Punk, he implied that TK would likely show favoritism towards Punk and fire him (like Colt Cabana). But that's not the reason he won't do a pipebomb, he won't do a pipebomb because that's what Punk would do - and he's right. If anybody else had that type of ammo on them, Punk would've used it and probably nothing would've happened to Punk.

And sure enough, Punk got in his feelings, got triggered not by a question, but because he knew of the reporter having some ancient history with Colt Cabana and went off at a scrum, and now he looks like the biggest prick that he always was.

If he's still that butthurt about Colt Cabana, he shouldn't have came back.

Now Tony has to choose between his business partners or his biggest money maker, and he needs to choose the Elite.

Except Colt Cabana wasn't on TV prior to Punk coming there on any kind of regular basis. No push no storyline just there occupying space as the most unlikely member of the Dark Order. Cabana is a good wrestler who has shown himself to be good on commentary as well but Khan never took advantage of any of that. The last that we saw of him was Danielson supposedly stomping his tooth out which also happened after Punk had been working in AEW for some time.
For all the asshole behavior that Punk is capable of there seemed to be no issues with him there until he had to deal with someone in the Elite clique. And until reports of them bravely saving Cabana's job even though he meant as much to AEW as Marko Stunt just with less TV time.
And considering reports about The Elite and Cody Rhodes having issues when his contract stuff happened it shouldn't be said that nothing has happened until Punk started shit

What's the beef with Punk and Cabana that it's this volatile???
Punk and Cabana came up together in the business both being from Chicago, trained together, were tag champs in ROH together and both eventually got signed to the WWE. Issue started when months after Punk left the WWE he finally came out and talked about the his time in the WWE including specifically what led him to leave on Cabana's podcast. The episode crashed Cabana's podcast website. From there the WWE doctor sued both of them based on what was said the podcast. The lawsuit went on for awhile. Eventually Cabana sued Punk saying that Punk had promised him that he'd take care of all of the money for the lawyers. Punk countersued and years later we're here.

That's why I left B Fab out. So not all. It looks good and since Black woman are finally being recognized in mainstream media why showcase a stable of black women wrestlers. I like my tag teams to match. I hate the Cass/Enzo or Aaliyah Raquel mismatched tag teams or stable it looks like a bunch of degenerate motley crew wrestlers thrown together
