Take the crack epidemic in the 80s and multiply it times 100 in every community and what he is saying is what they were dealing with back then. Those draconian laws that were put in place that sent so many people to prison, were put there because our community asked for it. And now motherfuckers wanna act like Joe Biden did it by himself. When I was growing in in South Central LA, there was a small grocery store called "American Market." My Grandmother and Mom would give us money, and we did the grocery shopping there. They actually gave me my first job throwing papers. We didn't have to go out of the neighborhood to get good groceries at good prices. Now there were times they went shopping to larger stores out of the neighborhood, like when they were going to buy stuff like 1/4 of a cow etc...
Also, Raymond Washington grew up not far from me. So once the Crips hit big and crack came in... the stores moved out. Now, older people had to get others to drive them to a store for groceries or they had to take the bus. Have you guys ever seen an old woman on the bus with groceries? You know she couldn't get a lot, because she was walking and taking the fucking bus. Crime tore my old neighborhood to pieces, especially economically.
So I said that just to say, if these idiots are out here hurting older people (Hell, anyone for that matter) - FUCK'EM! They need to be in jail for all of that pain and chaos they're causing.
Don't get me wrong I hate the police, because most policing polices are ineffective; and most policemen are crooked as fuck. If that woman is helping to bring peace to these neighborhoods, God Bless her!
