How are they mixing old world with the new world, some fully dressed and driving cars while others half naked and still living the old way. One 0f them even got weave in their hair...lol

Why do they look so young? How old are they?
This is not western society.

Virgin females from 14 and up participate. One may ask, "why so young?" This is because the celebration/ ceremony is about preparing and teaching females about womanhood and being good wives. There is no sex involved in this celebration. In fact, it is an honor to for the 25 thousand or so women to proudly declare that they are still virgins and will wait until marriage.

Will they wait? Who knows. But again, this is not western culture. So, we can not judge them by western societal standards.

However, as a health professional it is my duty to share with all of you that the prevalence of HIV in South Africa is 20%.

The thing that strikes me as being soo beautiful about in that video, are the young women and their natural bodies... What I mean by that is you didn't see a bunch of females covered in ghettotastic comic book tattoos, crazy looking fake asses, nor clown show crayola (you pick a color) weaves, and those dumbass looking fake lashes. Just beautiful bodies covered in their natural skin.

So in the Western age, they are between 14 and 17?

14 and up. Some are in their 20's and 30's.
30s? You making us stuff.

It says "The girls are separated into two groups based on their ages – 14 to 22 years and 8 to 13 years and they march to the reed-beds with their supervisors, local chiefdoms that are registered as security for this event."

If you go back far enough you can see his posting style before he picked up the African shtick. I never liked the way would act like a bitch and delete pic posts.
Yeah, he was trying too hard with that African facade, it was Bantu this or Bantu that.

I read an article that stated that approximately 14 to low 30's. Many of the older women act as "big sisters." I'm not a Zulu master or nothing. Only sharing what I read.
