Man, I was thinking about doing the same thing to this picture. I respect the time TM put into his craft. I remember him from Uptown Comedy Club.

But dude has NEVER been funny to me. His shtick and delivery always came across as coon shit to me.

Try to find the special with all his skits, you'll probably appreciate this more after you see those. Classic shit. Even the mention of Joe Piscopo by Tracy Morgan will make more sense.

I had that best of on VHS coming up. Funny stuff. Even as a young teenager in the 90's it was funny to me.

So Cosby gives this fool a shoutout and all of a sudden he changes his tune. No doubt they slipped him some dollars. What a joke.

They really trying to make the one joke

Not the FIRST one Eddie has said on stage recently btw

More than all the OTHER f*ckery that been said on Cosby?

Gtfoh

First of all, Eddie knew this skit was being made because I'm sure they notified him and got permission first.
They don't need his permission to do the skit so why would anyone ask? You think they asked Trump if they could mock him every week?

Was this joke below the belt?

You don't understand, when the original cast left that's when Eddie Murphy's cast began. Eddie Murphy took the helm of SNL and made it much see TV, before that many thought SNL might get canceled since the original cast left. Murphy made it survive and thrive. & after Eddie left, he felt that those skit disses of him were disrespectful since he helped saved the whole show. That's the larger point, it was about respecting the OG.

Yes if he was a friend of Michael Jackson. But SNL was the home to Eddie, he was a co-worker and creator.

It's kinda low for them to have done that skit on him.
When Murphy was on SNL it was ran by Jean Doumanian, and later Dick Ebersol, when they did that skit, Lorne Michaels was back in charge, at the time of that skit, there was no one on the show that was there when Murphy was there.

He's part of the SNL Alumni, in my opinion it was wrong for them to do that skit.

I disagree, no one is above mockery. If it wasn't for someone dying, they'd be mocking Alec Baldwin, and he was the SNL MVP during the Trump years.
