History is written by the victor.

I have searched everywhere to find where Durant was QUOTED as asking for Nash as coach specifically

Can't find it

But the narrative is KD wanted Nash

And now every single article and social media post states the KD "signed off " on it.

And for eternity that is what it is no matter WHAT any KD fan says there are literally millions of pieces that say he co signed Nash

So that's it.

This attempt to force a trade was a very serious miscalculation on KD and Rich part.

And is going to have serious repercussions going forward

Yall thought the Lebron to Miami thing was serious?

This along with the Kyrie and Ben stuff?

Woo boy.

Sidebar 2:

I can't believe this but I am actually rooting for the Nets this season.

I ain't defending the fuckery but the media also did them boys real dirty.

Best revenge?

Go win.

I'm not rooting for them, FUCK THE NETS! Everything else you said I agree with...

Brooklyn has a squad on paper and they can win. But will they put it all together? Will they come together? Will they play defense? Can they find adequate coaching? We shall see...

Yo...

I feel like all the hell they got last season

Which they deserve and I took active part in dishing out specifically because of Kyrie fuckery

We gotta reassess right now

When it was just Harden and KD on the court go look up that record... they were actually good.

Nash is new he don't know sh*t, I still think they can win with him but they need Mark Jackson.

Kyrie was on one the whole season unfocused disrespectful and an overall bad teammate. But he want that extension now, he will ball.

KD when healthy? Was balling. Bad leadership off the court and in the locker room yes, but on the court? Money.

That roster is solid for real.

Ownership is now focused.

Front office is focused.

Ben the Beige got a settlement.

We moving forward.

Expectation are realistic not super high no pressure.

Now do not get it twisted in December in February?

This sh*t can all go downhill quick.

But I am rooting for them to win

Because if they don't?

This will be a referendum on the entire concept of player empowerment

fairly or not

and completely revamp the upcoming CBA and how teams do business moving forward

And NOT in a good way.

Well I don't think it changes player empowerment. To me, the main issue was KD contract! 1st, why the fuck did he sign a contract extension. Shit was mad retarded. Or imagine if he sign a 2 year extension or a 1 and 1. Guaranteed he would have been traded. So player empowerment hasn't changed. And also who could really trade for him without gutting their team? Only GS could offer enough without and they didn't wanna do it; and/or KD didn't wanna go there. But he choosing to play with Kyrie is the real issue :smh: it was a dumb move from the beginning and still is. We shall see if it changes; I highly doubt it though...

You ain't say one thing wrong.

But you see the reaction from team executives

Of course you can ask for anything you want

But it's the WAY he AND Kyrie do business is what I feel potential have a negative effect on future contract terms.

And his blind loyalty to Kyrie is still mind numbing to me.

But right now all that is left is to win in Brooklyn

Cause another sub par season?

Woo boy.

The east should be very interesting to watch with what ATL did; Toronto should be better because of their younger players maturity; Bucks will be there and they would have beat Boston if healthy; 76ers getting better; Heat and Boston still there; Nets get they act together; well shit it looks like the east of the 90s...

Remember he had a series of injuries. I’m thinking he wanted to lock in as much money as possible for the future first, not knowing how his body was going to hold up. Smart move

Not a smart move if he really wanted out. And he's KD!! some team would pay him regardless. He's still top 5 player in league. I just think he has no foresight. Dude choose to play with Kyrie :smh: nothing else needs to be said...
