Yea I been on IBR so Im wondering if/when my payments will get readjusted (its usually once a yr in Aug)... Gonna be tough to call if they're able to process all this in the next few months..: the 10-20k forgivness, possible recalculation based on new IBR program (5% cap?), PLUS the fact that my current loan servicer (FEDLOAN) is getting out of the business and still hasn't told us who the next servicer is yet
I keep you posted though...I am in these Reddit streets hard and it's a wealth of information there....

Now just watch how many of the "If I can't have it, you can't have it either" crowd chime in complaining about how unfair this is to the taxpayer. Yet not a word from them about the legal loan shark lenders who charged near usurious finance rates to desperate students just trying to further their education.

They already complaining....I swear people in this country are funny....SAD
...because for some, even though they think themselves a decent human being, still think shit is a competition at the end of the day. Even at the expense of their own people or families, who they claim to carry a torch for, but really show their asses and true colors when money and one-upsmanship are involved.
It doesn't make a damn bit of sense crying about how black folks aren't given anything, or reparations etc... yet you gonna sit and hate when a program drops that will raise your people up in some way, just because it may not benefit that individual directly.

they been complaining before this was even announced. if I had all my loans paid off the last thing I would be complaining about is other people getting some help
The crazy thing is that the people that paid their loans off still doesn't compare to some of the loan amounts being held by alot of people...Hell I am willing to bet with all these breaks there will still be people who have to pay as much or more than what these people who are complaining (most probably went to community college or in-state anyways).
...Im in that camp for sure, so every little bit helps.
You submitted your waiver so you can get your months counted towards the 120? That's real important....
