If Trump had gotten re-elected then the 3%, oathkeepers, proud boys and the rest of that scum would have become his private army. Armed, marching the streets, carrying out Trump's bidding, and getting a full pardon for any and all crimes. Just like Mussolini's black shirts, Hitler's SS, or Napoleon's dogs in animal farm.
Without that pardon power though they are just a bunch of thugs open to prosecution for their crimes just like Timothy McVeigh and Dylan Roof.
