i'm gonna give it a shot right now
this is a decent little family movie geared toward a young audience
decent and original fight scenes, juvenile jokes that are decent
it's a little Blade,a little Dusk till Dawn, and a little teen comedy

i liked it
Fox is getting better as a more serious actor
really his age is showing in his face so he is shedding his goofiness
Snoop looks like a old Snoop smoking muthafucka
his character doesn't get stupid till the very end

I thought it fine for what it was. Franco being the comic relief. Megan in all her tight yoga suit glory.

Family comedy though? I guess it depends on the age. Maybe if the kids grew up listening to Sam Jackson movies

***Edit: you mentioned teen. I can see that.

Watched this with the wife and the boys, it was worth the watch.

For those who haven't seen it, please keep in mind that BGOL is the absolute worst when it comes to objectively critiquing a movie.

Every movie isn't Avengers Endgame. Some movies are just fun. The plots may be weak and have holes. Some of the acting may be questionable. But, it's cool nonetheless.

Think about it like this, every meal you eat isn't a gourmet meal. Some meals are just some plain delicious meatloaf and mash potatoes.

^^^^

This was NOT a family movie

But TEEN yeah I can definitely see it.

There was absolutely no sex or nudity

But it did have a weirdly " bright friendly tone"

bro that's Tarantino and Rodriguez classic

this aint THAT

but it has a lot of positives

and the negatives should have been fixed and hopefully WILL be if they do a sequel.
Well, it would've been hard to compete with that classic even if this movie was running on all cylinders.

I'm gonna still check it out though and see if it's something worth inviting my bros over to see.
