It’s also the people who gave them to him. Trump was POTUS, and had access to them, but those documents are not kept in the Oval Office in a file cabinet or stored on his computer in his office for him to print out.
They were kept in a secret, secure location in Washington DC or somewhere outside of Washington DC.
And it ain’t like you could just walk in. Grab the documents and shove them into your pocket and walk out the front door.
Lots of folks are going down.
