This, we didn't have any black officers so they transfered a brother from the Navy to our unit. It was supposedly a program to keep the services on the same page but looking back it was probably to add diversity. Oh yeah A school was at NAS Memphis in Millington TN. Then Whidbey Island WA. Fleet was at Cherry Point, westpac Iwakuni Japan and Subic Bay Philippines. Dessert Shield/Storm. Avionics (AT) for the EA-6B. 1988-92.
