Really good doc

Kenny Smith, Kenny Anderson, Mark Jackson, Shammgod, Pearl Washington, Skip, Rod Strickland, Steph

and a bunch of others commenting on them

I'll excuse Smush Parker being included

Smush absolutely deserved to be in that doc because he was in every borough putting in work on those blacktops, church gyms and everything in between.

It's sad that Kobe got y'all thinking less of that man when he made the ultimate goal for every ball player who took this shit seriously.

For every Smush, Strict, and the Jet there was a Booger, Master Rob and Speedy who didn't make it but was as well known in NY streets as the guys who did make the league

Both could have. If you didn't grow up here, you can't speak on the impact Smush had in this city. Smush was one of the few dudes who was know as being nice who would actually play ball with anybody/anywhere. It was common place to see him balling at W.4st with just about anybody when he was a NBA prospect.

NYC gotta lot of love for Smush because he never let the accomplishments get to his head

He hated Boston and their fans to the point that they retired his jersey in private :smh: :

“The only way he was going to participate would be if it was before the game,’’ Heinsohn said. “He respected his teammates, and that’s why he did it the way he did it. He considered the Celtics his family, so he wasn’t totally averse to them doing it. But he didn’t want it to happen in front of the fans.’’

Some of the Boston cacs he played with knew what was up and spoke out to their credit:

"Look, all I know is, the guy won two NCAA championships, 50-some college games in a row, the ['56] Olympics, then he came to Boston and won 11 championships in 13 years, and they named a f------ tunnel after Ted Williams." - Tommy Heinsohn, Sports Illustrated
