The time to evacuate was way before shit got that bad. It's difficult to predict flash floods though.
She's getting ready to reintroduce herself, since it seems like we forgot.

Nowhere did I say anything about not wearing a mask or not taking precautions. You made an assumption based on the tense of a single word.
Lol what were the two words that proceed the word after. Do you understand that the word after is a preposition, not a tense? "Were" is a tense of the word is/be. AFTER is a preposition. What you said is exactly what I interpreted despite what you may have meant to say. you said "after a pandemic." What is there to misinterpret?
And yes I'm assuming if you SAY the pandemic is over you're not taking precautions, that's called "logic."
The word "after" can be multiple parts of speech including adverbs. Adverbs have a tense.
More importantly, if you took issue with how I stated the sentence, there's an incorrect and correct way to approach me. Hint: you didn't choose the correct way. It would've been different if you knew I was someone who spreads COVID misinfo but that's not the case because I don't.
I lost a brother to COVID two years ago. I don't need to be told how danger it is nor am I in some la la land believing it's "over."
