Any of you use imbalance candles in your trading? I am learning about them now. Could be an easier way to trade for those who can't sit in front of the computer all day. I found this imbalance candle on $TSLA which needs to be filled. (I think).

Currently have a few GICs within my retirement portfolio (RRSP) - 100k, 27k, 13k.
Have a separate TFSA (tax-free savings account) with another bank under the same umbrella network of sorts. It doesn't perform too well though - very low interest rate with $86,400 in it.
Talked to my advisor a few minutes ago and will be moving / transferring said 86.4k over to their institution to earn better interest as a separate GIC. The other two 50k GICs already with them perform OK (outside of the TFSA). * The max contribution room for the TFSA annually has been $6000 for the past number of years. So it's up to you where you want to put that money. Minus whale earn better with it.

While AMD and NVIDIA are U.S.-based and design their own microprocessors, they contract outside firms like TSMC and Samsung to produce their chips. As a result, they wouldn't be able to reap the full benefits of the $52 billion windfall from the U.S. government.
The U.S. House of Representatives is currently debating a version of the FABS Act that would be more beneficial to companies like AMD and NVIDIA, as it would offer tax incentives also covering aspects of semiconductor design. However, even if those provisions were added, Intel still stands to gain the most from the CHIPS and FABS Acts than its peers.

They should benefit from the CHIPS Act as well. I'm still curious to see what the breakdown on the $52B will be. It won't be enough to do anything serious to compete with $TSM, but it's something. Hell, $TSM might get a cut, lol.

I'd wait until after earnings. It could take a hit (or not). The thought is PC sales are down and $INTC forecasted PC sales growth in their FY outlook. A few analyst are expecting them to guide down for the rest of the year. I don't really have a gut feeling one way or the other this ER. Too much FUD out there. SP is too low for me to carry a few puts and with the FED, GDP, and jobless claim numbers on the horizon, idk about calls either.
But even if $INTC misses, the CHIPs Act will be a positive. How big of a positive...
