OMG I need that 30 for 30 on the Suns 2022 playoff run and I need it yesterday. I've never seen anything like this. They were crew all season and up to & through game 6. Then game 7 started and it looked like the players didn't fuck with each other anymore.
Wtf happened behind closed door between those two games?
They say his shots went from 16-20 shots per game to 7-8. Also, didn't the coach criticize him on the court?
For a year. Suns handled this horribly. I understand not wanting to max him. But they should have worked out a trade partner long ago.
There was a specific play in (I think early in the 2nd half) where Ayton didn't close out on a open corner shooter. They were already losing the game by like 32 points at that point. But
And that happened mid game. Phoenix came out the tunnel for game 7 with different energy than they had in game 6. They mentally lost that game before tip-off. Something significant happened in the Suns locker room between the time game 6 ended and game 7 started. Ayton specifically came into game 7 with 'I don't fuck with these dudes' energy.

Whatever reason "he is there" can be done from a coaching position.
Career numbers have nothing to do with current stats. Kemba is clearly washed while Mitchell is an all star.
Knicks gave kemba a shot then shut him down cause he wasn't good
Kemba didn't fit in the coach's "System" and he's not the first player not to fit in that coach's "System".
Again, stats don't lie but it's not about Kemba. It's about the numbers and if Donovan goes to the Knicks, the Knicks would still Knick.

Melo wasn't awful with the Knicks. He's a scorer and he scored, he's not the type of player to make everyone better. He needed to be in a better system and a better culture with better players around him.
The man averaged 28.7 points for me season and 27.4 the next season with the Knicks.
