You don't think black people would be affected by hospital closures? Especially during covid, either because they have to drive to get care or city hospitals being overwhelmed by rural patients coming for care possibly preventing city dwellers from getting care?
GA is 47% white, 32% black, the rest other, but all that money is only helping white folk. SMH. It would be funny if it weren't so sad.
A sales tax is comically regressive and is essentially redistributing the tax burden onto low income people. This is some 8th grade economics class level stuff but hey, both sides are the same though.

Fuck the entire premise of the article trying to label her as a failure. Her opponent was the attorney general, who was in charge of the election and purged many voters.

As it true she said 85 south she's against reparations
I disagree with her but reparations isn't ever happening it's not really something I put energy into politically for that reason. I'm just speaking in general as an organizer.

But because she came so close and the GOP losing the two Senate seats.
The state went and created more laws to game the system for their advantage. Basically to cheat.
Every Democrat will have to vote along with left leaning independents. Some GOP electorate may be needed to get the vote tally high enough to over come what they did.
