Just means the job ain't good
He'd rather be a top paid assistant than coach the squad
Talking about unprofessional lol
He doesn't have to take the job if he doesn't want it

But I understand

They thought they had a coach

All that was left was the ink.

He didn't have to take the job

But he also didn't need to tell them yes

And they have the right to feel disappointed and angry and embarrassed.

But I don't like the media acting like this was the first time this happened

Cause it is not

Yep dude agreed to take the job, realized that life would be better staying at Golden State so he reneged.

It sucks for Charlotte because they did interviews and picked their guy.

No. Clearly you didnt know all of that because your comment was that he "didnt change or impact the game". This is patently false. Wilt literally impacted and changed the game to a point where rules were changed to disadvantage his talent and skillset. Rules that stand today. Also not sure what dominating Shaq has to do with anything. I clearly stated that Wilt playing today would dominate the game. Playing today would put his same athleticism and skill in todays game and training and be as dominate now as he was then. Stating that his size was his only advantage discounts his freak athleticism, talent and skillset and further exposes your ignorance on who and what he was.

Speculation isnt a cop out moron. Its a discussion using evidence to predict an outcome. Further, this isnt speculation.. this is projecting a players abilities and how those abilities would present in current day circumstance. Personally, i dont think one needs to do that to justify his placement in an all time list but since YOU wanted to take it there i merely obliged. As for the Cousy shit you pulled out your ass... I wont even entertain it because no one is making an argument for that guy in any way shape or form. Stay focused. Fuck peace.

Bruh it is far safer for you to assume that there's NOTHING you know that I don't know. Everyone knows about Wilt's history in track, etc. So don't waste another keystroke. Speculation is a cop out. Creating hypothetical situations about things that can never be proven. Cousy was for context MORON. No one is saying slow ass Cousy deserves anything. But when you claim Wilt deserves consideration for his dominance in an era where HE was one of the biggest, athletes you open the door for all the other players of long ago for consideration who were dominant at their respective position. Just because you don't get it doesn't mean it lack merit. Peace is the best option.

Bruh Wilt was 7'1 with a recorded 48 inch vertical.

That Brotha would dominate in any era especially today. If Rudy Gobert is a DPOY, has a max contract in the NBA. Then Wilt would be All
Universe! :roflmao:

And yes the game evolves, but players today had to learn from somewhere so it's wrong to discredit the originators and creators.

Regarding Shaq, Shaq was big and most of not damn near all couldn't stand in front of him 4 feet from the basket.

Shit we all know. It's not about Wilt. It's about his competition. His ACTUAL game. What kind of midrange game did Wilt have? Was it like Hakeem's. Shaq was 7'1" 325lbs. You think Wilt going to push him off the block easily? Hell no. He'd have his hands full like everyone else. As far as your other assertion. We're not talking Rudy Gobert. We're talking folks who are either on the list or the cusp and those players are NOT today's players. The best argument for Wilt's ability to actually shoot was his ability to hit free throws. He was over 80% which is pretty solid.

I apologize for entering your conversation. Shaq would back down and dunk on every center due to his size and strength.

I'm out.

That shit is wild....I wonder what really made he not go

He's on a championship team, has a great job. Great atmosphere, great future and who wants to go struggle coaching fuckers that can't even make the playoffs! :roflmao:

I said the same thing about Mike Brown going to Sacramento. It's great to be a head coach, but I'd rather ride that championship wave with the Warriors than go to that NBA graveyard in Sacramento.

If you were the head assistant coach on the Warriors, was already a head coach in Brooklyn. He's probably getting paid well at Golden State. Just won a championship and it looks good for them defending it going into next year.

What would you do?

I can understand Wilt. Watching Wilt on film. The cat was a fucking beast. Would he have trouble with Shaq. Hell yeah. Who wouldn't with prime Shaq? I been waiting for another Shaq for 30 fucking years. And this is the era of global talent, weights, premium nutrition, and still nothing close to him.

Now the one player that gets put in the top 10 that has no fucking place in their is Bill Russell. It's like no one has watched his film and they are scared to go against tradition. Just parrot his name. His offense was unbearable to watch and his pace-adjusted numbers ain't that great. Bill deserves respect for everything he did as a pioneer, but no fucking way is he top 10.

I was going to make a post about Bill Russell not being top ten because he played in the cac era and looked at a vid first, I was laughing out loud at this high school level of NBA play

Man, those are the highlights. Folks have to sit down and watch(unfortunately) some of the game footage. Jesus christ. That shows all the busted shit. Like how he look at the ball while pounding it and then try to make some type of post move. :smh:
