Do you guys know what a good price point to buy a stock? For example when google splits, is there a ratio to determine a good price point to load up on it.

Ian from earn you leisure just said for amazon 90.48 or 100.00$ whichever you comfy with...he said he wont give out a price for goggle...but he said a month ago he would... but we shall see..

This damn company. I want to believe, but they just can't get right.

I think the CEO is a bad fit.

It's not entirely his fault though. They got complacent beating $AMD into dust. Then let $TSM leapfrog them in manufacturing processes. $AMD then went fabless, used $TSM to make chips, and $AMD was able to catch up. Now $INTC is having manufacturing growing pains at these more advanced nodes, while $TSM is further advancing their tech and out spending $INTC on capex.

$INTC needs to come up with something because this game of catch up is for the birds. I'm still skeptical of their fab business if they're having issues delivering their own products on time.

Im long-term so def cool with seeing how the fab biz pans out, esp at these prices. As long as their FCF stays solid and they continue paying the divvy.

Here is something I wrote down from my losing $ROKU trade yesterday. I thought it would quickly sell off from the NFLX rumor (profit taking). So I jumped in at the bell and it did the opposite.

  • $ROKU has been shorted from $500 down to $100
  • The news made the stock pop up
  • Some shorts decided to cover, pushing the price even higher

Short bias got me, I need to look at the bigger picture next time.
