Tatum doesnt drive enough for his shot or to draw fouls. He constantly camps out deep, dribbles, side steps and jacks. And when he gets the ball in position near the block, he doesnt look to penetrate to score. He pivots, and takes bad fade aways. And on the rare occasion he drives, he always goes out of his way to fire off a terrible pass opposed to attacking the bucket.

That was because the whole team was on fire besides him. He passed the ball out of necessity and they made the shot.

Yea that was definitely a misleading 13 assists. Alot were wing passes to wide open guys, and they all were on fire from deep.
 
The frustrating part is clearly the focus wasn't there and I can't say how disappointed I am with that.
Boston will play better
Take this shit seriously for 48 minutes give it everything and I'm good with what happens.

Ridiculous to say the least; was way to casual in game 1; like they thought oh this gonna be easy; and it was for the most part until 4th; so we shall see what happens; GS will win at least 1 in Boston though...
 
Those Boston turnovers were ridiculous! That should be all you need to know about this game. Seem like they either got caught in the air or during a drive in the paint. They definitely weren’t focused like they needed to be. You can’t sleep when playing GSW.

now see what adjusments boston make. they spent too much gameplan making sure tatum got going. the ball literally stopped moving when he was on the court. let smart or white run the offense and he get his self inside the 3 point line ....should be easy money. once smart, brown and williams got those fouls in the 3rd. the gameplan went out the window.

Exactly. Cats can shoot. We know they got to be played far away from the hoop. They ain't taking advantage of that respect. They playing like they are 6'2" instead of their true size. Yeah, they can shoot over cats from 23feet away, but it's even easier from 1 foot away.

If the shots falling, we all know how that is. Keep it up. But when it ain't, just go goon on them. Move more without the ball instead of with it(another thing curry does better than most others).

My sanity is at stake here. :angry: :angry: :angry: Fuck GS.

The mid-range has been lost.
The only player that uses the mid-range effectively is Jimmy Butler

Mid-range shot is the worst bang for the buck shot in the game. Ball movement for an open 3 or a layup/dunk because the floor is spread because people shoot so well these days. That's why I always respected GS ball movement as well as movement without the ball.

You can blame steph, but what I don't see is players emulating his movement without the ball. All they do is focus on the end result on some James Harden shit.

Can't agree with the mid-range comment because the Warriors actually do use the mid-range game, they use all parts with their ball movement..the problem is like you said other teams only think about the Warriors 3 point shooting and think just focusing on that will make them successful.

Brown has weak legs he's always falling over losing his balance and that's how he loses the ball so much, Tatum has this move where he sticks the ball out before he shoots it trying to draw a foul and if the ref doesn't call it he turns it over
