Marlo![]()

If anyone is interested, HBO max has a documentary on Marlo’s character Sean Suiter called “ Slow Hustle”.
They could've stretched this out a little more

The last episode specifically could've been fleshed out a little more I thinkI don't know its so perfect so far...
there was NO weak episode
to make something so tight?
A complete novel on film?
I don't know if you want to water that down at all
especially since they did the podcasts, there is an existing book etc.
but I understand bro I really do.
This just dropped on VICE. Not Baltimore, but Louisville!

I would have like to hear from the people they terrorized that had to live under that shit.I was cool with it.
What more needed to be said?
You don't want to glorify these bad cops
Which damn near every TV show has done for decades.
You don't want to over fictionalize real events
We don't need more dramatized events
It's REALLY happening RIGHT NOW.
More details ain't gonna help.
We know what is happening in Baltimore and all over this country.
If what they showed which isn't even everything...
if anyone sees that and needs MORE to give a sh*t about Baltimore and crooked cops and a broken system?
They ain't watching it for the right reasons
This isn't some type of black torture porn
This is real life. We seen enough.
And I like that it felt unresolved
It's deliberately so.
It is unresolved
It WAS
IT IS still
We still living this bullsh*t
What's NEXT?
I listened to the BBC pod interview of him and he's still full of shit. He was saying he was broke with nothing in his account when he got arrested. Like we're stupid because we know he was dealing with cash and he was smart enough not to deposit it.
I would have like to hear from the people they terrorized that had to live under that shit.
Maybe a little more about the trial
Which was truly eye opening. These dudes were fucking up a great system to enrich themselves with little chance of getting caught.and they know they're just tricking the money off on hoes or gambling
Stealing money just to waste it. Shits just in their nature.
What happen to that code they have![]()
How about the guy that was killed because of the car chaseI understand
But I feel like we already saw all that
From the innocent to the criminals
And also I think you gotta be careful trying to make the actual drug dealers overly sympathetic
Yes they were wrongfully victimized but they were also guilty.
And the regular folk probably do not watch to be involved in something like this year's after the fact.
I think the story of the father who got murdered by his plug cause the task force stole his money was enough.
Especially the defense attorney saying you so dirty the DA letting drug dealers go rather than prosecute if Jenkins was involved.
Any more victim testimony than it's a documentary or expose.
This wasn't that.
I was cool with it.

I like this and I feel that they alluded to the next logical move. End the war on drugs. The ex cop professor admitted that the war was lost. Most people with half a brain realize this. The fed (black lady) took it to heart and realized that she is just playing whackamole until that is over. There are entire small town economies reliant on the drug war continuing. The moral cause behind the war on drugs was never just. It was apparent how it destroyed black communities from the jump. In typical fashion, America only recognizes shame on the world stage and money. A lot of money has been wasted with little to show for it fighting the war on drugs. Cops have been deified in the process but under than thin shiny layer is a mass of institutionalized corruption. Corrupt cops are the effect but the drug war is the cause. Well, at a minimum, a major one.
He didn't, he got 18 years. The problem though is that each and every one of the cops is serving time in a minimum security federal facility. So for all the dirt they were doing throughout Baltimore -- assault, armed robbery, home invasion, perjury, distribution of narcotics, wire fraud, conspiracy, and manslaughter -- these dudes are doing white collar Fed time, Wolf of Wall Street shit. Each and every one of them should be doing hard time, in gen pop, in a much higher security facility, especially Jenkins and Hersl.
