I met this guy who claimed to be the east coast surf champion, who said he sees large sharks all the time (including great whites) but the ones he is afraid of are the dogfish sharks who have venomous dorsal fins and according to dude, love fucking with people while they are surfing. I have yet to confirm this claim, but the shit is surprising and wild.
