I don’t think Kendrick’s weird. I think he’s a regular Brotha from Compton who got money that no longer cares about material things.
Also if a person thinks Kendrick’s weird and his music doesn’t resonate with them, then they’ll feel that many artists are better.
Music is different and has different lanes. Kdot has his lane. Not the same as Future lane. Some people act like they can’t listen and enjoy different types of music and lanes. I listen to all types and enjoy different types…

With Kendrick's body of work you can start having comparisons to the all time greats. He is leagues above any of his current peers.
