King Kendrick is Back.

I just aint hearing what a lot of people are hearing. I was WAITING on this album for a minute. I just thought it would be on that classic "The Chronic" type level but I just aint feelin this ish AT ALL. It has a banger here and there BUT I was expecting a start to finish non skip album.

He needed Dre with this one. This reminds me of previous Nas albums (prior to Hit Boy). Lyrics be on point, song concept be on point but beats be ASS!

Better than anything since GKMC. But that's not saying much cause I thought everything after that was horrible.

Gonna call this album Coach Cal. Cause it's definitely 1 and done as far as listens

This album is by far his worst. It happens I guess. Shit even Stevie made Journey though Plants.

Five year wait for this? Yeah y'all can have thing sing along retread BS. Half this shit is Taylor Swift.

I will listen, but not expecting much...

I'm hoping he just pulling a Frank Ocean and giving the label the mid last album only to drop the dope one soon after.

Listening to this album, all I can see is my son, younger cousins, and young brothas I see on the daily. This shit is introspective, revealing some deep down shit. Borderline depressing, too. We, as a people, live some miserable ass lives...
I would not say miserable lives as a blanket for our people. But a lot of us go through difficult shit, regardless of the money we may have. But life is a journey and we have the ability to change the directions of our journeys; and listening to kdot, he is saying that…

2nd listen:

United in Grief: solid intro song

N95: beat is fire; very good record

World Steppers: didn't like the beat but love what he was saying; the beat where it changed for like a little bit in this song; wish that was the beat for the whole record

Die Hard: radio hit summer jam record

Father Time: Classic hiphop record!!!

Rich: never heard Kodak speak like this

Rich Spirit: another classic record "don't make me turn you into a song", enough said

We Cry Together: man listen :eek2:

Purple Hearts: smooth solid record; sounds like a mixture of pimp and Damn; Ghostface was nice on this record

Kdot could have had the first part, crown, savior, and mother I sober. That would have been a str8 classic.

Auntie diaries is going to be a skip because I know he is pandering for the grammy love at that point.

Count Me Out: good record; beat dope and lyrics dope "I love it when you count me out" that's a meme and everyone will say and use

Crown: this record is kendrick being kendrick ; It's him venting through poetry with music in the background

Silent Hill: dope beat, radio hit! Kdot talking shit; "push these niggas and bitches off me like" another meme

Savior Interlude: Keem brought it...

Savoir: classic hiphop record! Might be my favorite record on album; Might be...

Auntie Diaries: this record right here; man wow!! I don't give a fuck about the beat; lyrics are crazy :eek2:

Mr. Morale: beat sounds like it should have been on the Panther sound track lol; solid beat and record though

Mother I Sober: not my favorite but well dam it's up there; probably best record on album wow!!

Mirror: probably my least favorite record and I still like it...

Kendrick shouldn't be mentioned with Drake and J Cole. He's on another level creatively.

Anyone who doesn't like this, you're really telling on yourselves.

In the first sentence, you are right. Kendrick has solidified the 3rd place Bronze medal spot with this album. Kendrick cannot fuck with either of them creatively and both them niggas suck dick.

Niggas don’t wanna ride around bumping music talking bout “My Auntie’s a man” :roflmao:
I agree and it wasn't made for that. Crazy thing I was having a discussion with one of my cuzs, a few weeks ago; we talking about how people within our family don't wanna talk about shit; certain shit gets swept under the rug. That's what Kdot is talking about. I don't care about auntie man shit. But the premise behind actually talking about and dealing with shit that goes within our families. Within the world. That's the point. That's what makes this song fire!!

as one reviewer put it, it's a clumsy album.

Did we really need a whole song about fucking white bitches? Of all the new school upstarts in LA, Kendrick needed to drag out the most ignorant motherfucker Trump supporter Kodak Black :cmonson:.

Kendrick is far better than both of them. Cole is a disappointment if you really analyze his discography. At least Drake got hits, but no way he can fuck with Kendrick on a all time discussion, especially since he didnt write half of his best songs. I'm not bumping a song about transgender understanding, but it doesn't drop him off the Top 10 list because this is an okay album.

Why wasn't The Heart Pt 5 on this album?

You Kendrick fans really gotta stop with that "if you don't like this you're telling on yourself" nonsense. Everybody don't have to like his mid ass music. Like I said much better than the last couple but I listened once and never have to hear this again
