I love "Bar Rescue" so I'll definitely be checking this out.

Thoughts on Rampage ....
Jamie Hayter & Britt Baker vs. Toni Storm & Ruby Soho: Solid work here from all involved. The ending sequence was kinda clumsy but everything looked decent for the most part. Please get Jericho off of commentary. He's annoying.
Tony Nese promo: Was good until he revealed he was challenging Danhausen then the promo turned into a joke.
Hook vs. JD Drake: Another Hook squash. Yawn! It's time to give the kid a real match.
Yuka Sakazaki vs. Riho: Riho rocking the black outfit in this one. As expected when the Joshis work you get speed and fluidity in the ring. The only spot that was questionable was the flatliner off the top rope. That spot wasn't needed especially with Riho coming back from shoulder surgery. I really wish Yuka was full time in AEW because I would love for her to work more with the other women and be a factor in the women's division. Riho moves on to face Ruby Soho in the 1st round of the Owen Hart Foundation Women's Tournament.
Dan Lambert/Scorpio Sky/Ethan Page promo: This was basically to set up a match between Scorpio and his former SCU stable mate Frankie Kazarian. Scorpio claims he's going to be a fighting champion so we'll see where this goes. Hopefully this time around he can get some quality wins under his belt.
Jay Lethal vs. Konosuke Takeshita: Good match. Takeshita is very talented. Love his work. That lariat off the top rope was fantastic. Match had a nice flow to it. Post match stuff was meh. I don't want Lethal's group to be feuding with "Best Friends".
Overall, the show was better than this week's Dynamite.

Exactly, that's why it was always asinine for people to be like "this place is just full of ex-WWE guys", well yeah, that's because WWE had enough wrestlers to fill 4-5 different promotions just to keep them from other promotions.
And it was almost for nothing because aside from a few new hires, rookies and homegrown talents, they still mostly depend on the same 20 or so people they were already using 5-6 years ago. They didn't really keep a lot of people from the hoarding period.

I loved NXT but the only recent successes have been Bianca and Riddle (Damien Priest to a degree). Everyone is to be determined or DOA or already endeavored/left the company.
I am curious if call ups are more ‘successful’ in 2.0 now that it’s more aligned to main roster and the higher ups are more involved
The call ups will have to be more successful now or WWE will eventually run out of talent to use.
They've pretty much purged NXT of all the indy darlings and now just have their developmental folks working there that they can mold the way they want, including the stupid alliteration stage names they insist on giving all their new talent.

It would be a great match because Kenny would work his ass off to make it a classic. Dude's work ethic is unreal. Roman when motivated can have a great match but most of the time his matches aren't anything special. Kenny would definitely get the best out of him though.
