New signing. Throwing Miro in a random tournament let alone him facing Samoa Joe with no buildup seems like a waste.

The Good
Wardlow vs. W. Morissey: The Wardlow/MJF storyline has been consistently the best part of the show. Wardlow is on his way to being a mega star. The hoss match with Morissey was good and I loved everything post match. Crowd was at their hottest here. Wardlow finally getting his match against MJF. A contract signing next week.
Hangman Page promo: Solid promo from Hangman. Kinda playing the heel here against CM Punk which should make for an interesting dynamic going forward.
Blackpool Combat Club vs.The Butcher, The Blade, & Angélico: Fantastic video package from Regal to start. Solid work from all involved but it's time for Trios belts. These trios matches feel empty without anything at state. With a roster this big you could easily have a great trios division.
Dante Martin vs. Rey Fenix: MOTN. Really lived up to expectations. I would've had this as the main event over the women's match.
The Bad
Bobby Fish vs. Jeff Hardy: Decent but nothing special.
Santana vs. Chris Jericho: Okay match but JAS is boring. Go away heat.
Varsity Blondes/House Of Black segment: This whole Julia Hart thing is getting really long in the tooth. Either turn her or fuck off. The crowd was hot for it and it should've happened. Get her away from the Varsity jobbers.
Thunder Rosa/Serena Deeb segment: Although talented in the ring Rosa really isn't that good on the mic. Serena practically had to carry that segment. As a champion you need to know how to put matches over; Rosa sucks at that. Her reign has been very underwhelming thus far.
Deonna Purrazzo vs. Mercedes Martinez: Meh, I expected way better than this. This was slow and boring. Crowd was dead. Also, considering it's a ROH match it shouldn't be main eventing a AEW show. A lot of people on Twitter complaining that Deonna lost but she's with "Impact" wrestling full time so logically she had to drop the belt.
Overall, not a good show. Below average.

Honestly I am done with "new signings"! Lets work with what we got instead of flash in the pan quick ratings draw. Miro would be dope. "The Redeemer climbed off his hot wife and up the bracket!"
...but it's SOMETHING!!! 6 wrestlers that wouldn't be or weren't doing shyt in WWE. I am okay with a slow burn. Just give them something to do and let it be entertaining!
But this could be what sparks a program between the two. Miro comes back a monster and "injures" Joe. Miro wins the tourney and Joe comes back and wants to run it back. You go back and forth will they, won't they till the next PPV. Joe wins it and we get another month worth of depressed Redeemer promos for the rubber match.
Joe is currently feuding with Jay Lethal so that wouldn't make sense

I think TK gives freedom to the wrestlers on whether or not they want a injury or personal issue disclosed. When Moxley was dealing with his alcoholism he gave TK permission to disclose it.
