Anyone investing heavily this year??

How much money did you lose/gain this past week?

(QoQ) Gross margins look bad...DCAI (data center artificial intelligence) operating income is negative (YoY). Are they giving away data center chips? They didn't break out the segments this time around in the PDFs. Not sure how accurate the below is as it's not officially from $INTC

$10k to $2m?

Possibilities are sometime misleading.
Let's see them do it now.
Those strategies are unlikely to work again.
The seller of those courses will gain their income from subscriptions not trading.

RRSP portfolio hasn't been performing too well lately. Medium to high risk mutual funds, and a GIC at approx' $27,500 which matures in early-March 2023.

Interest has improved on GICs across other banking institutions, so I took $100,000 from a "high interest savings" account which was getting garbage returns & purchased 2 GICs (50k each) the other day. They were offering anywhere from 1 - 5 years, but the interest really didn't vary too much, so I just kept it at 1 year and I'll reevaluate next year (late-April) so as not to tie up that money for too long.

My available RRSP contribution room is smaller next year, so I won't be able to contribute as much to offset earned income. That's unfortunate - enjoyed getting a more sizable refund to be reinvested. That was working out pretty well.

For those saying it is not possible. If you compound $10,000 everyday at 1% for two years you will be over $14M.

This does not take into account that there are on average 253 trading days. Which means roughly 9 months of trading. So, the 18th month on the chart is more realistic at $2.3Ms. This is making sure you hit 1% of your total account everyday and not withdrawing a dime. This also does not account for taxes. My current goal is about 5% of my account daily.

Black men, you can do this. It takes focus and determination. But most importantly, it takes discipline. No FOMO, mitigating losses, no emotional trading.

You can do it.

Admittedly, I withdraw more than I should. For example, I'm taking the wife and kids to Belize and she wanted first class flights, hotels etc. I should keep it in the account and continue the flip, but.......

Hey, too late now, flights and hotels are booked. :dunno:

Market should open UP, then quickly turn downward. Don’t get too eager today. Apple anti-trust suit is on the table, Munger dookied on Robinhooe  , many earnings reports today. China still spazzing over 1-4 covid cases so there could be manufacturing pauses or plants shutting down.

Man I just try not to open up my accounts as much. My RH account is jump off a bridge worthy lol. Retirement down but Ill still be good when its time to retire.

That being said, when this Putin thing finally goes away it will cure lot of issues. Until the Geo Politics clears up its gonna be cold. The big players will start rotating again cause there has to be money made.

If you are new or still putting money in the market, get those dividend payers.

OH big shout out to WM who has kept me from taking a poison pill lol

Novice here so don't crucify me, but isn't this a good time to load up on good quality stocks? Stocks that are in the top 10 holdings of big company's like vanguard and blackrock?

No worries. This is a good question. Yes, load up on the blue chip stocks. It's called averaging down. Do NOT load up on those risky new companies. Times like these are good for building up your dividend portfolio.

This is a GREAT question. I’ve been wild busy so haven’t been here like I use to but I added to my apple, Msft, VGT, I even started a position in GOOGLE which is on SALEEEEE right now.

I constantly put money in the market. Not sure your age but def focus on some dividend bearing stocks. I know couple cats live by EYL only need couple stocks but the more diverse accounts I have had have done better. I mean I scooped up Costco couple years ago that joint has been dumb. Small dividend, good sheets, and think was last year or year before gave me $16 per share on top of the regular dividend. Got UPS in 2020 etc

what I learned from my advisor is the big boys don’t care about sexy. They are JUST about returns. They move the market.
I’ve taken a beating on Coinbase, now Draftkings and a couple of others. I could have taken profits… I should have.

anyways no dumb questions there are cats on here that are treasure troves of knowledge. I consider myself a novice in comparison
