Let's start off with Heaven's Gate.
Didn't know much about these weidos. I know most of you perverted MFers on here prolly wouldn't want to join although board members like @Dr. Truth truth @mangobob79 @NightMare Paint paint act like full fledged members.

The final initiation requirements were castration in order to gain a teleportation ticket to whatever shit planet they were going to.

I call it a shit planet because anyplace I can't take my balls is a bad place. Grey Aliens may have gained mind control over members. Greys are rumored to have a similar dickless/pussyless physiology.

About heaven's gate I don't think that was a comet in the sky during this time. Remember back in '97 when the hale bop cometwas visible in the sky even during the day time? It moved so slow it was in the same area for minutes or hours. Do comets move that slow. I always thought they were speedy

Comets travel fast, when you see them you have to remember you are viewing them millions of miles from Earth, so their motion seems slow.

The Sun, Earth and other planets in this solar system are travelling at high speeds. Everything in the known universe is moving at a high rate of speed.

The Earth is traveling at over 60,000 mph thru space. It’s hard to understand it when you look at the night sky and everything seems to be sitting there at one spot.

Most teachers don't know shit. I remember being told in elementary school the change of the seasons was caused by the Sun's distance from the Earth and that in winter the Sun was furthest from the Earth and closest in summer.

No surprise this was completely wrong. It's caused by the Earth's tilt and it's slightly closer to the Sun when it's summer in the Northern Hemisphere.

I had a staffer with a degree in astronomy that told me that gravity was a result of the mass of the sun and that your weight on different planets in the solar system depended on your distance from it. Got hot when I told her she was wrong. I was legit gleeful when I let that dumbass go about a year later.

So she believed Earth's gravity came from the Sun?? The Sun's gravity is why the planets of the solar system revolve around it but I'm not sure what she was getting at. I guess her other point was about microgravity. She seemed confused and maybe needs more physics.

To your second point, I knew someone like this. She was a friend of my brother. The last time I saw her, she tried to correct me when I mentioned Okinawa was part of Japan. I put her in her place with her daughter there. Just arrogance.

Maybe the sun's gravity holding the solar system together is the line of logic that led her dumb ass astray but I promise you she was not astute enough to consider anything like microgravity. I bet she wouldn't, then or now, be able to explain what it is beyond the obvious etymological guess. She need more physics alright, I can think of some foot-to-ass experiments we could run for starters lol
