Official 2025 NFL Discussion preseason edition!!!

Ideally with our 3 out of the 1st 34 pics defensive end, a stud linebacker ideally and a front-line wide receiver, that's what I wanted.

People are thinking that the lions are more ready then I feel we really are. If we can shore up that defense, get a wide receiver in a waiting, we can roll with Goff for another year and in '23 we could be beastly!!!
Our 3 picks fell exactly how I hoped but we traded away 32 and 34 to divisional rivals?!?

WHO DOES THAT

we are in Cap Hell fam… Cap Hell.

the Julio trade fucked us… the money we moved last year to fit Julio in… comes due this year..

that’s why Tannyhill counts 38million this year.

we might have been able to fit AJ for 20 million… but I think they looked at AJ’s knees and wondered. That’s why they had that incentive language.

if you watch how AJ has to get up after every tackle… it does make you a little nervous about his long term health.

he Had double knee surgery before last season.

I mentioned cap issues in previous post but they could have structured 1st year number low they like they did Landrys contract this year and Bud Dupree contract last year.

plus they have an easy out for 2023 on Duprees contract and Tannehill has less of a dead cap hit also next year. Plus Lewan.

Things are starting to make sense even more ..... @meilmarc

I think the truth is around the middle of this... but definitely feel that if he stopped communicating with the Team.. Jrob didn't have much of a Choice...

I don't believe shit teams will put out on a black player. When you start negotiating you always start high then negotiate down. Dude deserved a contract.

Now this 2nd round pick bullshit a corner man, could have drafted a corner 3rd or 4th round. We need oline, receiver plus a tight end before any other position
