He was playing on a bad wheel, guarding Braun, and never got subbed the whole tournament unless he fouled out.
Hubert not developing his bench or using his bench finally caught up with him. Remy had fresh legs by coming off the bench, and McCormick was able to take advantage of Bacot's injury at the end of the game.
UNC looked tired in the second half, and you get hurt when you play tired. Hubert will learn from this, he could have rested some guys when up 15 in the first half, 2 or 3 minutes before the half.
The Duke game was UNC's championship to be honest, Bacot's ankle was never even 80% for this game, he was tough just to make it through the first 10 minutes and be productive.

nah, he was fine most of the game and used to playing extensive minutes. he always shot like shit. look at his field goal percentage. it's horrific. if we didn't have bacot to get offensive rebounds, we wouldn't have any close games where he could play hero. No excuses. They played like garbage, took bad shots, and didn't respond well to pressure on the ball. they are going to have nightmares the rest of their lives. bacot is the only one that can say i did everything i could. he was running a bum ankle. everyone else was putting up more bricks that a 18th century cathedral.
