Im becoming addicted to shows like this.Business but with corruption around the edges. I still pass by WeWork offices when im out and about.

That Dirty Black Bag

A raw, epic and romantic spaghetti western series about the dark side of the Far West. The story describes the eight-day clash between Arthur McCoy an incorruptible sheriff with a troubled past, and Red Bill, an infamous, solitary bounty hunter known for decapitating his victims and stuffing their heads into a dirty black bag, because, as he puts it, “Heads weigh less than bodies.”

nice!.. love that westerns are coming back..

UPLOAD season 2 The show still blends comedy and drama very well while actually coming up with some interesting story threads and twists.

Finished the rest of the season yesterday. The last 3 - 4 episodes were definitely better. Wasn't really feeling the start of the season as much. Andy Allo as "Nora" is beautiful - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andy_Allo

The coworker I recommended the series to had some time off last week, and also finished the season. They are also watching Winning Time and Peaky Blinders currently.

2 episodes left with Peaky Blinders.

4 eps left with Reacher.

Survivor has been so-so.

Watching the Atlanta premiere and NCAA bball right now.

Watching the series premiere of Pachinko right now. So far, so good. About 30 mins in and have been reading the buzz about it from media and critics alike in articles and interviews, etc. My mom also texted that they’ll be watching it too in their rotation of shows.

Also, have caught up to ep 8 of Bel Air.

Still need to see eps 7 & 8 of Pam & Tommy yet.

Pachinko is a drama television series created by Soo Hugh based on the novel of the same name by Manhattan-based author and journalist Min Jin Lee. The series is directed by Kogonada and Justin Chon and stars Youn Yuh-jung, Lee Min-ho, Kim Min-ha and Jin Ha. It premiered on Apple TV+ on March 25, 2022.[1]

Based on the New York Times bestseller, this sweeping saga chronicles the hopes and dreams of a Korean immigrant family across four generations as they leave their homeland in an indomitable quest to survive and thrive.

HALO

Far better than i thought it would be the SFX are a bit choppy though

Sometimes when I watch Atlanta it feels like I'm watching a great surreal or A24 movie.
Writers Jamal Olori, Stephen Glover Stefani Robinson, and Donald Glover have crafted a show with dark humor and sight gags but also sobering messages about racism and the obliviousness that comes with it. Also infusing real life tragedies while holding up a mirror to the incompetence of the Child Protective Services. The opening episodes of season 3 have been hard hitting with its own quirkiness and shock around its edges but in the end all rings true.

Yeah man I have listened to a couple pdocasts about the former ceo of Uber, What a fuckign dick, these people make shit ton of money and surround themselves with a bunch of yes men and lost any sense of reality.

the book is so great

Nice.

How have you liked the TV adaptation thus far?

havent started it
this is the first time hearing of it

i'm one of those snobs that dont like to watch tv adaptations
because they tend to ruin it for me

though, i must say that one of the few that lived up to the books was the north water

Farrel played the part of an evil bastard so damn well

Agreed. That was a great limited series last yr. Reminded me a bit of season 1 of The Terror on AMC some years back!

Yeah this joint raw as fuck. Got ol dude from the Preacher and Ragnar Lothbrook is a Producer

Moon Knight really liked the first episode and it was nice to see my girlfriend in another life Saffron Hocking
in the first episode.Im still wondering if the villain Arthur Harrow will be as insane as he was in the comic books.

All caught up with Bel-Air. The season is almost over. Believe there's 1 episode left.

The series finale of Peaky Blinders is this coming Sunday. Should be interesting to see how they close the storylines, and/or leave some of them open.

Just past the midway point on Reacher. Watched episode 5 the other day.

Finished Pam & Tommy episodes 7 & 8 the other day.

Going to start Winning Time soon, and looking forward to the returns of Better Call Saul, Barry, and Ozark later in April.

The last days of Ptolemy Grey

This is one of the most beautiful and best miniseries I've ever watched. Absolutely hands down. Samuel Jackson is brilliant in the story is so so well told

They cannot deny him the Emmy for this one. It's already in the bag
