I'm wondering how long this is sustainable. I understand inflation, but fuel prices being this high means a certain (large) income bracket will have to compromise & make adjustments and difficult decisions. This shit us going to hurt delivery guys. I just had a mattress delivered and they charged a fuel surcharge if $70. Well, that was their tip.
I have a friend who only buys nothing but the best. He just bought a condo in Miami and we are going shopping for a new car that he wants to put in his condo for use when he goes there. He told me that it must be a 4 cylinder x3. I know that’s not a perfect example of what you’re saying but if rich guys are starting to cut spending then…….,I'm wondering how long this is sustainable. Retailers & other industries will feel it as the domino effect occurs. People have already learned how to live with less, quit jobs, get priorities in order... how long until people just opt out and sell vehicles, downsize, stop driving?
That means less tires (which requires petroleum/oil to produce), less insurance policies, less traffic tickets (a revenue stream for municipalities).
I think we'll see a surplus in the auto industry soon, its too high now, it has to correct itself.
We can find money to fill your gas tanks but you color people better not ask us if we can find money for your reparations.. it’s always funny how people can “find” money for certain situations but always claim broke or think it’s impossible to fund other things
Actually Gavin is pro reparations and has been trying to find a way to make it happen. He’s a good dudeWe can find money to fill your gas tanks but you color people better not ask us if we can find money for your reparations.. it’s always funny how people can “find” money for certain situations but always claim broke or think it’s impossible to fund other things
Just me thinking out loud doing this will only put more money into oil companies which means more kick back money for politiciansthese MFs think they are so slick.
Ohio, really, OHIO!Hell I wish Ohio would give us a 400 rebate no receipts required. I work from home and have filled my gas tank maybe twice this year.
Folks are going to spend on gas what they need regardless. This at least gives them an offset.

Gasoline Stimulus Check Update
Our Boy already on top of it!!!
This is probably to make sure drivers get proper "tips" while the bulk of it goes back to the company. That money is NOT all going in the driver's pockets.
