After the letter requesting a shot at 3rd string on the Jets I honestly don't understand not playing in the XFL or CFL.
If he still has it and performs well it would be further proof (not that it's needed) of his being blackballed and may be his only shot at returning to the NFL.
Plus with his name he'd have the leverage to ensure that he's on an XFL team that would give him the best chance at looking good in the field.
Yeah I don't get it either. I definitely would sign up for the XFL...Tons of players in the NFL came over from the XFL...

No, the XFL is nowhere near NFL money, but he probably would be paid more than most anyway just based on his fame and then if he does ball out, he could get a serious look from an NFL team. I haven't looked into much details, but QB's were getting paid the most in the XFL and USFL. I think around 120K (which is not too far from what a 3rd string would get in the NFL)....Now that the 2 merged, I am sure that number is going to go up a lil more.. Regardless
League minimum is around $750 k in the NFL. Some people love that white kool aid.
I support Kaep but when you mention doing what you love, money should not be a concern.

Doug Flutie came back to the NFL for the 1990 season after 8 years in the CFL at age 36. While the money ain't shit, if Kaep really does want to play,he should use the XFL as a means to show his skills haven't eroded.
Yup good example and he probably would make a lil more in the XFL vs. the CFL....
Doug Flutie was a monster in the CFL.
Kaep should take the Rock up on his offer to join the USXFL. He would immediately be the face of the league before he even participated in his first team practice.
