I worked for NARA as a civilian contractor and worked on the Obama project for over 2 years being the IT resource getting his archives together.
I took that job because I thought it would be something special to do...Normally it would have offered the opportunity to move into the IT spot once the library was built.. When Obama decided not to partner with the government I decided to move on.
Obama is the only president that doesn't have a library and won't.
Libraries are a partnership between the president's foundation and the government (NARA).
