Why would you make Steph sacrifice his rhythm and minutes cause you want to tinker?
Why would you make sure that he is frustrated before you switch back into the rotation that he's best in?
How can him not being at his best be the best for the team?

Double teams and traps are implemented for one of two reasons. To exploit a weakness or negate a strength.. Curry is often trapped because he- at times- doesnt pass out of them effectively , and it limits shooting range. Lakers used it against him and made him look pedestrian in the past. Theres a reason teams wont do that shit against true great PGs like CP3.. because he will make them pay. Again, its a defensive strategy.. not some evidence of his greatness to be used in argument of him being most doubled in NBA history. Foh.

If paired with any play maker having a wide open court makes everything easy - see Draymond or Poole
