If the cheese ain’t all the way to the edge FUCK YO PIZZA! Shops selling dipping sauce for those bullshit bread eyebrows leftover. 
Chicago deep dish is fire if you don’t get bullshit. The Philli shit with the sauce on top look like straight ass. (Naaaaw, the flavor is at the bottom!) nonsense.

I honestly don’t know what Texas Pizza is or if there’s even a culture around it. I always assumed it’d be topped with some brisket or BBQ, something that Texas is known for.

Will check it out. 5 - 7 yrs ago there used to be this spot called Vesuvius Pizza off Edgewood right next to Joystick. They had the best pizza I ever tasted in Atlanta.
NY pizza is tops hands down.
The only thing that I miss about Jersey is that there were plenty of Mom and Pop Pizzarias and sub shops around. Pizza was good but man, them hoagies...can't find anything like that here in MD except if you go to Baltimore.
I don't rock with the chains too much but there was one called Pie five I loved but they closed all their stores. Mod Pizza and Blaze are pretty good.
I haven't had Papa Johns, Dominoes or Pizza Hut in years unless I'm at some office party or something.

That’s because out here they put Artichokes and pineapple and all sorts of weird ass shit on pie. Lots of the higher end spots put an over easy egg on the pie. Shits ridiculous. As an east coast nigga I get mad as fuck out here at food

The chains are everywhere but the original one is in College Park. Their sauce ain’t as sweet as the chains.
If yaw into other DMV spots, I’d HIGHLY recommend two spots in MD.. Stained Glass Pub in Silver Spring and Continental Pizza in Kensington. Both battle for best Pizza in the area year in year out.
