Chicago thin crust pizza by far. Not the deep dish shit everyone thinks is what represents the city's style. Mostly honkies , visiting foreigners and goofy ass tourist eat and rave about the deep dish. Most black folks here don't fuck with that shit.

This...best NYC pizza I ever had was from some Brooklyn refugees in Miami..
but Memphis has a style that i have literally never seen any where else... it's one big beef or sausage patty the size of your pizza on the bottom then everything else on top

Prince St Pizza is one of the best but that isn't Detroit style pizza. That is a Sicilian Slice. Sicilian slices are well known in NYC as a stable.

I actually thought New Haven would be neck and neck with NY here cause those pies are ridiculously good. I’ve often times heard from historians and critics that New Haven is actually the pizza capital, not NY.
I think if we’re talking about JUST dough.. New Haven wins that alone. That long fermentation of the dough, makes that crust extra special. The way they do it at Sally’s is second to none.
Them Messicans took over the kitchens and are getting that education. I expect some Mexican American pizzaolos in the coming decade or so.
