{The Official 2021-22 NBA Thread} - Finals: Warriors vs Celtics…{4-2 advantage warriors } Dubs NBA champs, Curry MVP

So y'all hate the Nets because the media dick ride us instead of hating the media themselves?
It's not your fault as Nets fans. I been said that. Your a real one. Of course I hate the media as well. You guys do not deserve the credit for being basketball slayers. That's my point. KD is the baddest man on the planet but Embiid, Jokic, Tatum, Ja, Giannis, Butler, Seth ect all tryin to get theirs as well and aren't in awe of Brooklyn coming together like fuckin Voltron.

Bucks brought in a former all star and arguably the best on ball defender in Holiday

Celtics brought in All stars in Haywood and Kemba

Y'all just got Harden and brought in Jimmy a few years back

Jokic, Luka and Ja don't have the stars persay but have some of the best role players in the game

And it's a ploy by the media who are usually Knicks or Lakers (LeBron) fans to build the Nets up to be the favorites so when (if) we do fail, we look like an even bigger disappointment.

I just don't know why y'all keep biting the bait. It's all clickbait

Thursday should be fun

Who the hell is shenzu?
These NBA players gotta stop responding to these random twitter accounts.
In fact, they should just stay off of twitter in general.
Nothing good, noteworthy, and/or meaningful has ever happened in a twitter conversation.

Can't speak for everyone in here, but I don't hate the Nets. Even before the KD/Kyrie trade, I thought the Nets had one of the best young squads in the East. The year they had D'Angelo Russell, Jered Dudley, & Spencer Dinwiddle, they had the most entertaining bench in the league. That was a group of players who loved playing together and simply had fun on a nightly basis.

I can't stand the alphabet channels and all of their 'narratives'. All of their narratives are targeted at people who watch more highlights than actual games. The same people who watched those channels all night and then come to work (or in here) and repeat the same nonsensical talking points.

If anything, I feel sorry for KD. I heard the best analogy the other day on a podcast in regards to KD.
They basically said that he left a comfortable CEO position in Apple to join with a startup company in Brooklyn and it's not working out the way that it was promised to him.

Personally I hoping the Nets can get their shit together enough to make the play-in. Then hopefully we'll see them in the first round of the playoffs. I can't wait for Ben's excuses for why he can't play in Philly for that entire series. Either way Joel, Harden, & Maxey vs KD & Kyrie should be an entertaining series.

We hate the media so much that we want the Nets to fail so they’ll look stupid once again, you’re wrong Mack1052 the media really wants KD to win so they can say they told everybody KD was the best in the world. When KD lost last year the media didn’t crush him they made all kinds of excuses about not having help, toe on the line, etc..

So players are beyond conversation with anybody?

And that last statement is wild. Twitter is whatever you make of it but a lot of great things have and are happening because of twitter

Feels like ever body like the Nets when we weren't a real threat just like everybody likes the Cavs now but once we got KD/Kyrie is was fuck us. It is what it is

Same way they lauded Bron for his effort without Kyrie and Kevin Love in 2015.

It's ok to be a fan of one player and still appreciate the greatness of another.
