TV SHOWS / SERIES - Seen any good ones lately? Please feel free to post reviews / feedback / trailers / articles / TV news / all that shit ...

Power Book IV Force - The Pilot was sluggish but the show has picked up and is going on quite well, Tommy can carry his own show.

All-American Homecoming - HBCU setting is a positive and nessesary visual for youngsters. Making the man characters a baseball player and tennis player was a very refreshing move.

I STILL have to start Ozark

had to catch up with Raising Wolves with is completely bonkers I still have no idea what the hell is going on there but I am addicted to it.

I dropped Saul after season 2 and have to get back in I LOVED THAT SHOW

Nice.

Ozark is a pretty wild ride throughout.

Saul has really good acting from all involved. It has proven to be a very valid prequel to BB, when most fans were probably unsure about how well they would be able to pull it off.

Me and my gf starting watching Breaking Bad again last week. We are on episode 1 season 2. I saw it one time a few years ago. People kept telling me to watch it but I heard about cooking meth and thought it was some bullshit CAC series. ...boy was I wrong!

Walter White was the man!

just finished watching all 5 seasons of breaking bad...and maaann...this is a good show.
WW is that dude for real

I have no idea why but this little show fascinates me. I connect with no one on the screen but I actually care about the main character so much. If the cancel it tomorrow I wouldn't miss it. If it was 20 episodes I'd binge watch them immediately

I am very confused.

There is a pain, frustration, longing and angst and anger there just beneath the surface that is captivating.

Just watched the final episode

Good work

I can't explain why I really enjoyed this series and looking forward to season 2.

better call saul is easily one of the best shows on tv in the last decade

Really glad the gamble paid off for them (doing a prequel). Alot of people would have probably left Breaking Bad alone, considering how well it was received with critics and fans alike. By giving people more of what they wanted, but not easily settling for just "plug & play" and milking the names of some of the leads on BB, we were able to get more back story on some of the additional key characters, and also the great performances from the likes of actors like Rhea Seehorn and Michael Mando. Love seeing the different aliases that Odenkirk has gone by too. Pre-"Saul Goodman", post-"Saul Goodman", etc.

Really enjoyed the 2nd season of The Righteous Gemstones. It wrapped Sunday night and delivered on the season finale.

Thought 1883 wrapped up their inaugural season pretty well too. A slower, more sad, episode on the whole after a busier penultimate episode the week prior.

Need to get caught up on the most recent episode of Euphoria.

Caught the 1st episode of Reacher and going to enjoy having it in the rotation now too. Also, have seen the first 6 of 8 episodes of season 3 of Goliath. Very good. Enjoyed the "trippy" aspect at play in a number of circumstances. Also, the involvement of a few notable characters from seasons 1 and 2 respectively into the mix this 3rd season. The bulk of the episodes have been taking place at a hotel / casino, and fans of Dexter: New Blood from late last year will recognize one of the cast members in this season. Looking forward to watching the last few episodes later this week, and starting the 4th and final season next week. It aired this past fall.

Also checked out the season premiere of Peaky Blinders. Nice to have the series back. Thought they paid tribute to the late Helen McCroy ("Aunt Pol") well with the breathing effect / overlay.

She'll be missed. Rest in peace.

McCrory died of breast cancer at her home in London on 16 April 2021, aged 52.[25][26][27] Announcing the death on Twitter, husband Damian Lewis stated that she had died "peacefully at home, surrounded by a wave of love from friends and family".[28][29] She had kept her diagnosis secret, and very few people knew of her illness before her death.[30]
She was shooting for series 6 of Peaky Blinders at the time of her death.[31] Other than Peaky Blinders, her last appearances include the 2016 production of The Deep Blue Sea at the National Theatre and the 2020 ITV drama Quiz.[30]

Super Pumped The Battle for Uber

The Battle For Uber tells the story of one of Silicon Valley’s most successful and most destructive unicorns, Uber. The season pivots on Travis Kalanick, Uber’s hard-charging CEO who was ultimately ousted in a boardroom coup, and his sometimes tumultuous relationship with his mentor Bill Gurley, the plainspoken, brilliant Texan venture capitalist who bets his sterling reputation on Uber’s success – and then has to live with the consequences.

This is good so far, I like the filming style it's 80s/90s style with a b movie actors but with a better budget.
