BUG out plan - Who has one ready to go now?

 Good luck catching a squirrel, or cat for that matter
I actually know where a shitload of strays chill at..they are very friendly towards humans, cause some be feeding them.. all I have to do is show up with some cat food and they literally will pop out.. they will regret trusting me on that day.. every yr they add more to the crew due to mating

Squirrels and dogs carry rabies but I guess you have to take your chances.

Also good to have a basic understanding of what berries you can consume. You get hungry enough and you will eat anything.

Before it gets to that there will be plenty of stores to raid. Safe transportation is the issue. Recall in Katrina we saw pickup trucks with armed survivors in the back going around searching for food and anything useful. Of course they were labeled looters.
Lots of white people have dogs I will be killing their poor fidos.. if survival mode kicks in cacs better run real fast from me I’m killing their dogs, digging in their pockets.. shotgun in one hand and duffel bag over the shoulder.. let’s just say I have both on deck already

Lots of good stuff in this thread

I gotta few things in my bag, but not nearly enough...

Buncha medicine and first aid...one of my exes was in nursing school and left me a bag fulla stuff...

Guns, knives ammo...my girl's son is on an archery team, matches, lighters, local maps, crank radio, weed seeds...

Too much shit to list.

I'm heading for the mountains if the shtf... definitely getting away from populated areas.

I think alotta people are expecting the worst, but Katrina is what put me up on the necessity to be prepared.

At a minimum, you gotta be able to be self sufficient for a week, cuz you saw how long it took the govt during Katrina..

I need some seeds

I'm a natural prepper... meaning...I don't throw away much and I'm always looking for multi uses for things...

I heard they're edible and actually good for you...and I had a shitload of em.

But, I wanna get more high quality ones and I'll prolly have to pay for them.

When Georgia legalizes it, I'ma have plants ALWAYS in rotation.

The most important thing I gotta still figure out is what printed materials I need...

Gimme decent instructions and I can build damn near anything!

However, there might not be any internet up or limited to no access...so I can't research how to perform some type of medical procedure...or build a snare to catch game...

I'm sure there's a book with some basic all-around survival knowledge, so having all the supplies in the world is great, but if you don't know how to use em, you're screwed .

My hardest thing was identifying the females versus the males. I had the soil nutrients on point although I didn't test the pH

I had two male plants that were 8 ft tall and 7 1/2 ft tall respectively. I buried five dozen eggs (whole eggs, not egg shells) in the soil and an entire case of banana peels. With half the banana peels I put in a blender , the other half I just had regular

The reason for that was the ones that were put in the blender released nutrients early in the developmental cycle while the other ones decomposed over the season and added nutrients later in the cycle when it was needed

I wish I hadn't gotten caught so I could have seen how would I did the affected the potency of the plants, but I had some nice ones

It even affected the soil. My basil smelled like weed that year.

Problem with the buried eggs is it attracted skunks, who dug in my garden going after the eggs, but I put down cayenne pepper around my garden and that deterred them

I’m killing all dogs and cats, birds, squirrels.. firing up the grill.. last time I remember humans are omnivores and there’s a lot of animals that can be eaten if cooked right.. that’s the great thing about being an animal with carnivore taste buds there’s always smaller prey around that can be devoured

I heard on some show that all bird eggs are edible .....

I advise blacks to learn how to fish and hunt. Can't lie, being a city boy I suck at both but they are both on my bucket list for this summer. Maybe we can start a thread on this and start black support groups in different states.
Rage how this came along

I have a bike and the closest bomb shelter is a 8 minute walk so let's say 5 minute bike ride. Just have to take a packed bookbag with water, canned food, other essentials.

I mention bike because roads would be impassable.

A small fm/am radio, solar or battery powered would be good.
Beef jerky
Sanitation alcohol
Hunting knife
Flashlight
Hammer
Swiss army knife
Watch
Compass
Extra socks
Bar soap
Cloth for tourniquets etc.
Thin blanket
Skullcap
Etc.

Even tho the post are old, great insight

Will get one of these for each vehicle then double up on them
